Rebuilding Homes.
Restoring Hope.
Since Hurricane María, House of Hope PR has been restoring storm-damaged homes — and the families inside them — one roof, one kitchen, one neighbor at a time.
God's hands and feet — serving Puerto Rico
When Daniel and Marilyn Henderson arrived in Puerto Rico just weeks after Hurricane María, the island was devastated — homes gone, no power, no water. They couldn't look away.
They began handing out food and bottled water, then patching one roof, then another. They replaced windows and doors. What started as simple acts of help became a calling — and House of Hope Ministry — Ministerio Casa de Esperanza was born.
"Humbly serving the Lord by humbly serving those in need." — Daniel Henderson, Founder & President

Full home restoration — top to bottom
We don't just patch a wall. We make houses safe, dry, and livable again — so families can come home to dignity and peace.
Roof Repair
We seal and coat the roof and scrape and repaint ceilings inside — putting an end to the leaks that ruin a home.
Interior & Exterior Paint
Where paint is chipping and peeling, we scrape it back and repaint inside and out — protecting the home and renewing its spirit.
Kitchen Repair
Running water and working plumbing — plus new cabinets, counters and sinks — so families can prepare sanitary meals again.
Bathroom Repair
A fully functioning shower, toilet and sink — the basic dignity every household deserves.
See the transformations
Drag, swipe, or use the arrows. Every one of these homes was somebody's everything — restored by faith, sweat, and generosity.
The lives we've changed
Tap any project to step inside the story — the volunteers, the prayer circles, the joy, and the families who got their homes back.
Be part of the hope
It takes a community to rebuild one. Here's how you can help restore homes and lives in Puerto Rico.
Donate
Your gift buys lumber, paint, plumbing and tools. No donation is too small — every dollar goes to work on a home.
Volunteer
Serve meals, scrape ceilings, swing a paintbrush, or pray with a family. Mission teams and locals are always welcome.
